How to Use a Reversible Coupon Code

This is pretty much the exact flow I follow when I shop through Reversible.com and want to make sure I actually use the coupon that’s attached to a listing:

  Browse Reversible like you normally would – through New In, Designers, Clothing, Shoes, and so on. When something catches your eye, open the product page and pick the size and colour you really want. I only move on to the coupon part once I’m sure about the item itself.

  On the right-hand side, you’ll see the Compare Listings section with offers from different partner retailers. This is where the magic usually happens. Some of these boxes have a small line of text such as “11% off Fashion and Beauty” or “25% off full-priced items — Code: XYZ”. Whenever I see that line, I know there’s a promo code attached to that specific offer.

  Inside the listing card, the coupon is shown clearly – it’s the bit that would correspond to “Enter the Coupon Code here” in the screenshot. I highlight that exact code and copy it, making sure I don’t leave out any letters or numbers. I always copy from the same card I’m planning to shop from, because codes can be retailer-specific.

  Next, I hit the Shop button on that exact listing. Reversible then sends me straight to the retailer’s website for that offer. This step matters: if you switch to a different shop or a different listing, the coupon you copied might not apply anymore.

  Once I’m on the retailer’s site, I add the item to my cart and go to checkout. Somewhere on that page there’s usually a field called Promo Code, Discount Code or Voucher. I paste the Reversible coupon code there, hit apply, and wait a second for the total to refresh. I never pay until I can clearly see the price has dropped.

  If the discount doesn’t appear, I quickly check the small print: is the code only for full-priced items, over a certain amount, or for a specific category (like fashion and beauty only)? Sometimes I’ve just picked a sale item that’s excluded. When that happens, I either adjust my basket or hop back to Reversible and choose another listing with a different offer that fits what I’m buying.
